Lumora
Learning that feels like play.
Lumora is a learning app Kevin built for children — math, reading, history, science and a whole world of games — for any family, whether or not their child attends True Dream.
Lumora’s own website, where you can sign up, is on its way.

What is inside
Five ways in, and every one of them a game.
Children earn stars as they go, and spend them building a space that is theirs — which is most of the reason they come back tomorrow.
Math
Matching, shapes, patterns, money and time — hands-on practice that builds real number sense.
Reading
Pictures to words to full sentences, at a pace that adapts to your child.
History
Then-and-now comparisons that make the past click for young learners.
Science
The five senses, weather, plants and simple experiments to explore.
Games and rewards
Spelling adventures, a logic arcade, and a room of their own they decorate with the stars they earn.
There is a free taste of every subject before you decide to subscribe.
Lumora and True Dream
Related, but not the same thing.
Practice between sessions
For children at True Dream, Lumora is somewhere the practice can keep happening at home — including on the evenings nobody has the energy for a worksheet.
For any family
Lumora is not only for True Dream families. Anyone can use it, and it has its own sign-up, separate from registering a child with True Dream.
Calm and low-pressure
It is designed to be accessible and unhurried, so practice feels like play rather than another test.
To be clear
An app is not an intervention.
Lumora is a practice tool, used alongside a child’s education. If you are worried about your child’s reading, the right first step is still an assessment.
What Lumora is not
- It does not diagnose, treat or cure dyslexia, ADHD, autism or any other condition
- It is not a substitute for intervention, professional assessment, therapy or medical advice
- It does not guarantee any particular result or rate of progress
- Progress shown in the app reflects activity in Lumora only — it is not an assessment
